I'm sure some of you were looking for my 'show and tell' Tuesday, and I regret having to tell you the reason why I couldn't post...
My father...Mr. Fix it, goes 90 miles an hour never slowing down, fit as a fiddle, Alaska traveler, avid fisherman, hiker, welder, and follower of Jesus...fell 15 feet from a ladder on Monday.
I can't even tell you the sheer terror I felt when I picked up the phone to a paramedic saying 'get to the hospital now'! I couldn't breath or talk or walk, I was in complete shock.
He is fighting for his life and its extremely hard to leave his bedside. I will post again soon about much happier subjects.
Remember to say I love you every day because you never know when you may never get the chance again.
Oh my word...My thoughts are with you at this difficult time and hope your Dad is ok. I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteThankyou, Jane. So sweet of you to leave me a note. Been a hard week, but I think he is out of the woods now. Just a long road of recovery. Have a great day. janae'
